Job Description - Media Manager

We are looking to hire a Media Manager with confident communication and people skills. Media Managers are expected to possess superb project management and organizational skills with the ability to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, Media Managers should demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude with a keen interest in shaping an organization’s image and values through appropriate communication to the outside world.

Media Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day operations of Publication Division, Research Division and PR Division for AKP

· Maintain Ananthapatha Monthly Newspaper of AKP with Content Collation, Design process, Proof Reading and Magazine publishing on 22nd of every month. Should be able to draft contents both in Kannada and English.

• Conduct Ananthapatha Release Program and briefings. Coordinate the distribution of magazine to subscribers.
• Work with Team to increase subscription for Ananthapatha.
• Build and manage the organization’s social media profile and presence. Develop content for dissemination via press releases, social media, websites, and other distribution channels.

· Should manage Twitter, FB, YouTube and website contents of AKP.

· Should supervise the catalogues of all the photo albums in possession and categorise them in systematic manner.

· Should supervise conversion of speech to text in various languages. Should tally the audio files with converted texts and edit suitably.

· Should supervise maintenance of the Library and preparation of systematic catalogue.

· Should supervise the work allotted to the staff during office hours in particular and maintain work done records.

· Should be able to organize and coordinate meetings/ small functions in that premises of AKP

• Ensure that key messages align with vital organization objectives and strategies.
• Monitor online and offline campaigns, and report on results.
• Serve as the organization’s media liaison and formal spokesperson.
• Promote additional projects to support new product launches.
• Build long-term relationships with media influencers.
• Appropriately manage the organization’s media budget.

Media Manager Requirements:

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Media/Journalism or related (essential).
• 3-5 years of work experience as a Media Manager or similar.
• Demonstrable experience with building effective media campaigns.
• Ability to create appropriate content for dissemination via press releases, social media, websites, and other distribution channels.
• Ability to nurture long-term relationships with key media influencers.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• Natural leader who displays strong decision-making and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Walk-In

Salary: ₹24,900.00 - ₹32,900.00 per month
