Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in consumer and/or technology marketing
  • Experience building integrated brand campaigns

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience designing and launching marketing programs from the ideation phase through executive buy-in, to post-launch optimization
  • Experience in media planning, media mix management, and digital marketing
  • Experience developing innovative, path-breaking marketing campaigns that generated user interest and gained industry recognition
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals (e.g., user research, strategic planning, crafting positioning/messaging, developing go-to-market campaigns, etc.)
  • Outstanding creative judgment, with the ability to guide creative development and activations with agencies and internal teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strategic mindset and business acumen

About The Job

Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In this role, you will lead integrated marketing campaigns, designed to drive user growth and Search brand equity. You will work with multiple cross-functional teams, including global, regional, and local Product Marketing, Data Science, Partnerships, Public Relations, and Policy teams, as well as media and agency partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own, plan, and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to drive usage and adoption. Lead the complete process from briefing through to creative design and implementation.
  • Develop actionable insights from data and user research to define positioning for Search features.
  • Partner with Google Media Lab, Media Agencies, and Data Science teams to develop a holistic go-to-market media strategy and media channel mix with mechanisms to track and measure marketing return on investment.
  • Collaborate with regional and global marketing counterparts to share learnings and deliver improved creative work.
