Product Stewardship Consultant - Digital Services (Associate Level)

ERM is seeking an experienced product stewardship expert to join our global Digital Services business. The role is necessary to provide support in product stewardship documentation and its related projects. Focused specifically on authoring Safety Data Sheets and its allied technical support, as prioritized and required by the project in consultation with other business leaders. This role may evolve to contribute and participate with other ERM product stewardship requirements over time. The successful candidate must be a team player with a keen eye for detail, the ability to maintain strong relationships, and experience of completing projects on time and within budget.

The job will require working closely with all product stewardship teams and senior consultant / Leaders across ERMs global locations. We expect a passion for learning and applying knowledge of emerging digital tools coupled with a problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop an idea on a sustainable efficient systems that support compliance with product stewardship requirements and related customer regulatory / product integration & implementation requests

• Attend to demands from customers and regulatory driving forces that depend on technical information, documentation and responses. These include but are not limited to: Product stewardship / Regulatory documentation and SDS’s, product chemical composition, product and raw material registrations, legal documentation requirements, technical aspects of packaging and customer outreach, etc.

• Liaise with other ERM subject matter experts as necessary to keep high level of accuracy and consistency across related functional aspects

• Adhering to all ERM and client requirements, specifically those related to H&S and governance

• Ensure all PS requirements are on-track for new or continued clients.

• Researches, analyses, integrates and organize background information from diverse sources towards product stewardship requirements and deliveries

• Compete & collaborate with internal and external developments on Global regulation, product stewardship best practices and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information

• Establish and maintain the organization, timelines and objectives for the authoring & validation of documentation in order to support business, and projects where needed.

• Deliver technical documentation of high quality. Allow/expect constructive review of some documentation by others in ERM in the name of accuracy, standardization and quality control.

• This role may require to correct, evaluate, report and manage documents in place of regulations, technical feasibility, Internal and external liabilities.

Education, Experience and Key Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 5 - 8 years product stewardship experience working with global teams preferred;

• Ability to work autonomously and making decisions with nominal managerial oversight is essential for the position;

• Moderate to deep knowledge of regulatory and/or product compliance in safety. Can be met by degree in any related courses or work experience closely related to this role.

• Knowledge of global or safety regulations in moderate detail is an added advantage. Able to share information and experience with others.

• Proven knowledge of Product stewardship best practices; Moderate MS office skills are essential for the position;

• Experience of working in SDS development, technical documentation, Global regulations and other aligned knowledge in the field of PS will be a plus;

• Excellent English communication and time management skills is essential for the position;
