This role involves managing team of business analysts and scrum masters working on multiple products, ensuring that the teams are delivering to the time scales provided and to a high standard. Open to change with new ways of solving problems, drive and own release estimation and time to market. Although this is not a hands-on role, it does require at least 12+ years of experience of software development and the applicant should have been a developer in the past along with working experience in product companies

Must Have experience: 15+ years of IT experience. Prior experience of working with Product companies

Primary
  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
  • Work closely with stakeholders, cross-functional teams including product managers and product owners to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget to implement product vision
  • Manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
  • Own time to market, on-time releases, agile development processes and run scrums of scrums
  • Mentor and guide the sprint teams
  • Recruitment and training
  • Manage attrition and drive merit-based promotions
  • Expertise in working with web applications in an agile environment, PMP,CSM and/or CSPO certification would be added advantage
  • Experience delivering cloud or SaaS based offerings
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and apply new technology, tools, and process
  • Ability to plan and organize workload efficiently, working to strict deadlines
General and Task Management
  • Track and deliver Product Releases on a close, to real time basis. Ensure timelines are met and impediments are addressed.
  • Assist in planning of the Roadmap & Budget with the onshore team
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-time software release
  • Ensure best engineering practices are being followed with agile (TDD/Full stack)
People Management
  • Provide leadership, coach, mentor, develop direct reports, and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, adds value, and reduces costs
  • Manage communication between teams under leadership, to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvements
  • Work with team to translate strategy into specific annual performance goals and objectives including KPIs to track
  • Monitor ongoing progress and performance. Provide timely feedback.
