Who we are looking for:

Responsible for migrations from Onshore to India. Act as the primary contact to for Transitions, record risks and concerns, arrive at remediation/mitigation plans, regular reporting to track and update Transition status. Performs work independently within scope of established guidelines and practices. Consults with Assistant Vice President or Vice President where clarification or exception to policy may be required.

The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. A Transition Manager ensures all work is transitioned in accordance to all regulatory requirements. The transition manager is accountable for all planning and Transition Methodology implementation, communication with internal stakeholders, co-ordination of operational requirements, and the overall successful completion of the Transition(s).

What you will be responsible for:

As officer you will:

Ensure transition activities are completed in a timely and effective manner

    • Collaborate with departments to ensure completion and approval of all required transition documentation, check lists, training, reporting and go-live management
  • Ensure the global transition framework is followed with strict tollgate adherence
  • Identify, report and mitigate transition risks, issues and critical barriers
  • Identify lesson learnt and implement actions to avoid repeat learnings
  • Manage relationship with stakeholders and corporate functions
  • Ensure all tasks are completed according to State Street standards, procedures and policies
  • Development and execute transitions using project plans and other project management tools
  • Ensure change is effectively managed
  • Keen eye for understanding the business operations being transitioned
  • Prepare reporting for management, project stakeholders and project sponsors as and when required.

  • Experience running complex projects with stakeholders located around the world
  • Excellent project management, communication and relationship management skills essential
  • Strong business and industry knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) – able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff across the organization including senior management
  • Problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications, Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Arts or MBA
  • PMP / Prince certified
  • 8 years or more Overall experience, at least 2 years in Transitions / Project Management
  • Initiative, self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Computer efficiency with MS Office
  • Effective communication skills.
