About the team

Worldpay by FIS is building a community of engineers to develop and then commodities a catalogue of enterprise wide consumable products that can easily and repeatably be scaled and deployed across our global Merchant Cloud & Automation Services (MCAS) architecture. The products you develop will help drive our organization towards our strategic principle ‘Cloud First’ and our successes will be measured through the continued adoption of our MCAS products and services. Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we aim to deliver effective solutions focused on business value.

Job Description:

As a Sr. automation engineer, you will be responsible for the automation of the operational tasks. He/she will work very closely with development team in building out an automated platform around continuous integration and no downtime.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering and Operations to develop an end to end automated platform using QTP/UFT/Selenium
• Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks & issues
• Own project timelines, deliverables, and work independently
• Understand flow of code and how it interacts with different components
• Own quality of software and guides other teams on testability of software
• Understands project documents to create effective test conditions and execute test.
• Set up and maintain test automation framework.
• Ensure all the requirements are thoroughly tested - functional & not functional requirements
• Continuously learn, develop & improve skills
• Debug, test, refine & rewrite code
• Pays attention to detail and all tasks should be done with highest standard.
• Utilize an iterative Agile software development lifecycle

Skills/Abilities:

• Should be hands on QTP/UFT, or Selenium
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Knowledge and use of quality management methods and related tools & technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
