Haldor Topsoe is a leading technology and catalyst provider in areas of Clean fuels, Chemicals and Clean air technologies with a vision “To be recognized as the global leader in carbon emission reduction technologies by 2024”. we are a global company headquartered in Denmark, vast majority of our highly specialized catalysts and technologies are sold to industrial plants throughout the world.

We now offer a unique position as Scientist at our regional office at Delhi, India. Our Delhi development department is developing technology solutions for the refining industry, mainly Renewable technologies but also hydrotreating and other emerging technologies.

If you join our company, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the field of process development. Your daily work will involve regular contact with our Refinery Business Unit and Process Engineering as well as our regional offices.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and optimize process design for industrial plants
• Participate in design and engineering for new technologies
• Provide technical assistance for first-of-a-kind technologies to sales managers and customers worldwide.
• Create effective cooperation across cultural and educational boundaries.
• Drive development projects together with stakeholders
• Close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams located in different region

Qualifications

• To be a successful candidate for the job, you have a degree in chemical engineering.
• You possess 5-10 years’ experience in the field of process engineering design.
• Operating or design experience within renewables, hydrotreating or hydrocracking technology would be an added advantage. Knowledge of oil and gas sector and engineering computer programs (Pro/II, HTRI, Aspen Hysys, etc.) is a definite advantage but not a demand.
• Good command of English, both oral and written, is required.
