Roles and Responsibilities

1. To develop plan & projects from concept to execution including budgeting, scheduling, basic & detail engineering, coordination with technical, manufacturing, process, R&D, instrumentation & other engineering disciplines for all the New and Existing projects

2. Responsible to support Technology transfer from R&D to Pilot Plant and from Pilot Plant to Commercial scale

3. Plan - direct construction and installation of plant equipment, testing and commissioning of the same and project hand over. Also direct operation, maintenance and repair of facilities, equipments, tools and machines

4. Develop budgets for the projects and get it approved from the management

5. All the new development on container procurement for Alkyls like designing, vendor verification, site audit, quality check for the first time containers.

6. Responsible for modifications of the containers with respect to the customers requirement.

7. Coach and guide team members for project requirements.

8. Responsible for identifying the resources, leading the team, communication with the internal customers and provide the support for their trouble shooting

9. Developing SOPs for the different processes, HAZOP studies, Effluent treatment studies.

10. Developing Emergency procedures for project in coordination with the Unit Manager/ R&D teams

11. Direct to carry out revamping / de-bottlenecking of existing process & technology and troubleshooting.


Desired Candidate Profile


1. Candidate should have fluency in written and verbal communication

2. Candidate should have minimum 14 to 18 years of experience in large Chemical/ Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Agrochemical / pesticides company

3. Should have experience of green field and brown field experience

4. Should be open for relocation
