Exp: 6-10 years; Roles and Responsibilities Responsible to identify the supplier base which is approved by GFME and benchmark in technology. Sound knowledge in Capital procurement process Global stakeholder management Source, negotiate and purchase equipments from both local and overseas vendors. Evaluate vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions In charge of Capital purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation Responsible for implementing internal Capital procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers Exposure to taxation and EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude Devise and use fruitful Capital procurement strategies Discover profitable suppliers andinitiatebusiness and organizationpartnerships Negotiate with external vendors to secureadvantageousterms Make contract/agreement. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services Finalize purchasedetails of orders and deliveries Desired Candidate Profile
