One of the world’s largest retailers and the world’s largest logistics company have teamed up to offer innovative solutions for all aspects of traceability using GS1 standards. We are therefore looking for Java developers with professional experience for permanent employment for projects on this topic.


Your tasks:


  • Development of software applications according to customer requirements, mostly in Java basis, frontend and/or backend
  • Testing und Documentation of the software application developed
  • New and further development of traceability solutions

Technical skills required:


  • University degree in a technical subject, preferably computer science or an apprenticeship in "application development" with professional experience
  • Project experience in object-oriented development with Java (11+)
  • Familiar with modern data database systems
  • Hands-on experience working with application servers, frameworks like Spring
  • Should know common development tools like Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Git, JIRA
  • Frontend technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript (min ES6) and JS Frameworks like VueJS /React (or WebComponents) are known to you
  • Experiences in Docker, Kubernetes

Personal skills:


  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking

  • Very good spoken and written knowledge in English
