About The Role

We are looking for an intelligent, forward thinking individual to manage the People & Culture team at The Luxury Closet. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to drive initiatives that will attract, engage, and develop top talent, making TLC a workplace where people love to be.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Retention
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for the company across different seniority levels, teams and regions.
  • Gather resource requirements and ensure timely delivery of hiring needs.
  • Build and manage the best process for screening and testing candidates to find the perfect job in the company ensuring a cultural fit.
  • Oversee & manage employee onboarding.
  • Build and manage initiatives to ensure retention of the company’s top performers.

Strategy, Analysis & Compliance
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Employee Relations & Services
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee & manage employees’ requests.
  • Manage monthly payroll cycle and annual salary reviews.

Culture

Envision and action programs and events to maintain cultural cohesion within the company.

Performance
  • Oversee and manage the company’s performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of proven work experience as an HR Manager/HR Generalist.
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Previous experience in managing a small team.
  • Previous experience in recruitment for start ups is a plus.
  • Previous work experience in the UAE is preferable.
