Senior Test Engineer

The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for various components within a system. They will conduct test activities in functional test environments prior to the release of application code into BAT environments. They will carry out the required tasks it was designed to address in real-world situations and verifies that requirements and business objectives are successfully met. Individual will writes test cases and scripts, engages with business users to determine if the delivered functionality satisfies the requirements and works with development to resolve identified issues.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties

• Exposure to Automation tools and Agile testing process is an advantage.
• Candidates with testing certification are preference.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:

• BE/ME/MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science with excellent track record
• Should be proficient in DB, SQL Queries & SQL Joins.
• Experience in manual testing of Client Server & Web applications.
• Experience of cross browser/device, responsive and accessibility testing.
• Should possess experience of testing methodologies, defect management system and Database knowledge.
• Handled full range of testing services including defects analysis, developing test scenarios/cases, test monitoring and test execution.
• Good testing experience with different types of testing including Regression and Functional.
• Experience in preparing test environment to execute test cases.
• Should be able to lead/support a team of size between 2 to 4 members.
• Analysing the test cases prepared by other team members.
• Exposure to QA activities is must.
• Conducting review meeting within the team.
• Should be comfortable working in India/UK business hours.
• Working hours would be Indian business hours however resource should be available for support out of UK/US business hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
