ServiceNow Platform Architect

Primary Function:

The ServiceNow Platform Architect is a key member of the ServiceNow Platform team and is responsible for helping to build theoverall architecture and design for the Corteva ServiceNow platform. You’ll work in a collaborative team environment to partner with others and govern system and technical requirements to support the structure of the Corteva ServiceNow application to support the business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in the design, analysis and implementation process along with the ServiceNow Product owner or Project Manager.
• Produce functional design documents and technical specification requirements as needed to support the roadmap for Corteva IT Business Services requirements
• Document design and technical requirements to support the ServiceNow strategy and roadmap
• Ability to assess, analyze and evaluate options to determine best practice in the use of ServiceNow out of the box functionality and customized solution to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with Demand Manager and Business Analyst to confirm the enhancement requests are aligned with the product strategy
• Manage the partner development and admin teams, review their changes and development methodologies
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and make sure solution roadmaps are aligned as per product architecture
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and act in a consultative role related to the ServiceNow platform and related environment
• Maintain knowledge of current ServiceNow version and existing functionality and explore future version upgrade offerings as planned by ServiceNow to advise to ServiceNow Product Owner for updates to the roadmap or strategy
• Ability to assess the functionality in a version upgrade with existing functionality for enhancement or improvement.
• Experience with ITSM, IT Operations Management, Integrated Risk Management and HR Operations modules of ServiceNow

Basic Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with proven experience working with ITSM/ITOM technologies and has worked in a large corporate business and IT environment.
• 5 years and more ServiceNow product architect experience and has 8 years’ experience of ITSM technologies / processes, and overall IT experience of 15+ years.
• 5+ years experience in delivering software package solutions and systems integration

• Experience with the ServiceNow platform or ITSM tool configuration and scoped application development
• Computer Software Engineering Degree

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to understand technical and functional design requirements for ServiceNow, Systems integration of ServiceNow SaaS / Platform solutions and apply them to solution designs or
• Hands-on experience with administration of ServiceNow instances. Good knowledge on Workflows, Import Sets, Update Sets. Hands on with UI Policies, UI Actions, ACL’S and Tables. Workflow management on ServiceNow platform
• Ability to architect Integrations with ServiceNow using LDAP, SSO, Mid server, web-services, Email and ServiceNow Integration Hub
• Experience in designing and developing SOAP and RESTful web Services
• Ability to create prototypes / proof of concepts in collaboration with team colleagues to support business requests and requirements. Determine required solutions and assist in implementations
• Exposure to Orchestration and other automated workflows in the context of ServiceNow configuration and functionality for ITSM and other components in the ServiceNow suite
• UI Design and Deployment Including Use of Style Sheets and delivery of the Self- Service Portal.

Good to have:

• Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience in Project Management or project methodologies a plus
• Presentation and communication skills
