What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone passionate about Content Creation & Social Media Marketing, always up-to-date with online trends, can create awesome travel content, knows his/her pop culture and thrives on wicked creativity & outside-the-box thinking. As a Travel Content & Social Media Specialist, you will ensure we have a kick-ass yet informative social media/online presence that stands out while simultaneously complementing our sales & marketing strategy. You will be our social media gatekeeper & first line of digital communication.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan & execute.
• Develop, design, implement and manage our social media strategy & content.
• Design visually stunning graphics for digital and print materials, including social media posts, advertisements, website banners, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency across various media outlets.
• Create monthly content calendars & buckets in sync with marketing & sales calendars and strategy.
• Develop & execute awesome campaigns (multi-channel or single-channel).
• Create viral video content (short-form or otherwise).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
• Use social media marketing tools to create monthly reports.
• Work with freelancers, and influencers to develop brand content & campaigns.
• Manage ORM efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a content creator with a strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns and visually appealing designs.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Good with research & creative ideas.
• Should be fluent in video content creation (reels or otherwise).
• Social Media Channel Awareness & Understanding (Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, YouTube, Pinterest, Quora and more).
• Good aesthetics and design knowledge.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

• Passion for travel and a creative approach to storytelling is a plus.

• Copywriting skills.
• Blogging skills.
• A basic knowledge of digital ads & SEO (Google Ads, FB Business & Ad Manager, and other Google Digital Tools).
• An understanding of UI/UX.
