JD for QA Staff

This position is for the security product technology team which is responsible for driving technology leadership in Juniper’s security products.
Design and develop Security Deployment use cases across sectors like Enterprise, DC with combination of features and traffic
Develop, Execute and Automate functional test cases and solution use cases
Take care of overall automation quality and maintain high level of automation deliverables.
Security product functional testing and regression testing
Work closely with PLM, TME, Development, Account Teams, SE’s and TAC for right exposure to field issues and deployments
Handling Escalations from a Test perspective as needed

Candidate Requirement:

BE/BTech/MTech/MS or equivalent
10+ years of experience in Feature Testing and Handling Feature automation in Network Security domain

Job Requirements:-

Thorough understanding of Networking and Network security domain
Thorough understanding of IPSec, ALG, NAT, AAA, IPS/DPI, AppID, UTM, Application Firewall, Web Firewall, SSL-Proxy, Web-proxy
Very good with automation in Python, Perl. Python preferred.
Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems
Excellent communication skills and needs to be a team player
Programming knowledge in Python or Perl
Automation of test framework and test cases using python and REST APIs
Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite and Linux working knowledge.
Experience/exposure to L7 protocols such as HTTP, SMB, DNS, SMTP and IMAP is a plus
Experience and understanding of L7 security such as IPS/UTM/Application Firewall/Web Firewall/SSL-Proxy/Web-proxy
