Job description

About the Position

1. Candidate should have good experience in Infrastructure and Devops. Ideal candidate is someone who has minimum 2 years of experience in this field and he/she would reports to the Team Lead.

Must Have

DevOps Experience

1. Should have hands on experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Preferably in GCP

2. Should have hands on experience in code deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible, and Chef)

3. Should have hands on experience in CI/CD pipelines, software-automation production systems (Jenkins and Selenium)

4. Should have understanding on versioning tools like Git and GitHub

5. Should possess knowledge on writing shell scripts

6. Should be able to perform systems tests for security, performance, and availability.

Infrastructure Experience

1. Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment and/or facilities.

2. Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to highly complex (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.

3. Acts as the technical liaison between operations teams, engineers and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.

4. Participates in the design, implementation, and execution of backup and disaster recovery plan for infrastructure solutions.

5. Actively monitors and publishes the availability plan discussing the ability of the IT infrastructure to meet the availability requirements of the business.

6. Should have working idea on

a. Google cloud Platform

b. Stack Driver

c. GKE

Good to Have

1. Working experience in backend technologies like Ruby on Rails, Python

2. Monitors database performance and recommends changes.

Qualification

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in Devops/Infrastructure/ Backend.

2. A degree in B.Tech/BE required.

3. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
