Analog Devices, Inc.is looking for a Systems Modeling Engineer to join our Extensible Processing Platforms Teamin Bangalore, India.


This is an opportunity to join a growing team that is leading a “digital transformation” to enable adoption of edge processing within ADI products. The candidate for this position will be part of an engineering team responsible for implementing advanced development methodologies for the product design lifecycle: SoC prototyping for ADI’s Extensible Processing Platforms.


Responsibilities:

As part of SoC prototyping, the position involves key processes: System Modeling, simulation, emulation and architectural analysis.

The goal is to enable pre-silicon software development and early system validation using hardware-software test environments for platform integration and system testing.

  • Design and Develop simulation models (SystemC) models for components and subsystems comprising the SoC: Processors (ARM), peripherals (UART, DMA, GPIO, SPI, I2C, etc)
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams from architecture to implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar fields
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Hands on experience using SystemC, C, C++, SysML
  • Working knowledge of computer architecture, digital design, and embedded software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to collaborate with team members of varying skillsets
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with system prototyping tools such as: Synopsys Virtio/Virtualizer, Synopsys Platform Architect, Cadence Virtual System Platform
  • Hands on experience with system-level architecture and hardware design

Travel Required: 10%
