Job Description

We are looking for Rebar Detailer with experience in generating rebar shop drawings and Bar Bending schedule along with bar release. The candidate will be working closely with various US and Canadian clients on Residential, Commercial, Mixed-use, Industrial, and different Infrastructure Projects.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce Rebar drawings that conform to Canada, US, and European standards for various structures
  • Preparation of structural 2D Rebar Shop drawing by using RebarCAD and other software.
  • Generate rebar take-off from bid stage drawings.
  • Study and understand all the Structural drawings i.e. Concrete design drawings, Steel drawings, construction schedule.
  • Study and understand Architectural and MEP drawings.
  • Manage a team of 5-10 resources.

Desired Experience:

  • Work experience of minimum 4-10 years as Rebar Detailer/Manager.

Required Software knowledge:

  • Mandatory experience on RebarCAD.
  • Knowledge of ASA will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Tekla and Revit will also be added an advantage.

Desired Qualification:

  • Mandatory qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
  • Preferable qualification: B. Tech/ B.E in Civil Engineering will be an added advantage.
