We are leading Tiles Manufacturing and selling company, Head quartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, KAG Tiles is a 25 year Business Conglomerate galloping in various spheres of activities viz., Tiles, Taps and Bath Fittings, Sanitary ware, Home Care Product, Decorative, Smart Granite, Sink - Quartz & Handmade, Adhesive & Grouts, etc., Urgently looking for Warehouse Incharge in our Madurai Location.

Warehouse Incharge job description: Job duties and responsibilities

• Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
• Good knowledge in Warehouse and inventory.

· Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

· Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements

· Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system

· Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)

• Track inventory levels
• Order new supplies in a timely manner
• Constantly work to improve processes
• Make suggestions for productivity improvements
• Optimize employee workflow
• Determine and track most important warehouse KPIs
• Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members
• Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.
• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.

Warehouse Incharge job description: Job requirements and qualifications

• Min 10 years of experience as a Warehouse Incharge or similar role
• Knowledge and experience with methods for process re-engineering.
• Ability to manage inventory
• Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant fields.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
• Problem-solving skills.
