  • Working in 24X7 global environment
  • Monitor, triage & troubleshoot Windows server incidents.
  • Maintain and support services/applications under Windows team responsibility.
  • Monitor the Windows/VMware infrastructure and take proactive actions when needed.
  • Contribute to document and review standards and operational procedures.
  • Enforce technical and security standards for Windows infrastructures and services.
  • Follow internal processes at all time (ITIL, time tracking, escalation).
  • Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge.
  • Act as project manager for Windows / VMware infrastructures projects by providing regular follow-up on schedule, budget and issues.
  • Handle system upgrades and migrations, in accordance with latest technology trends and SG global standards."
  • Knowledge on migration. Knowledge on Backup/restore process
  • Windows server patching experience through blade logic.
  • In depth knowledge of migration of performing physical to physical, physical to virtual, virtual to physical, virtual to virtual
  • - Creating and managing virtual machines. Performing various tasks such as VMDK Expansions, virtual CPU and RAM upgrade, vSnapshot and clone creation and deletion, Capacity report, data store creation on LUN extents6) Good knowledge on operating system /Windows 2003/2008/2012
  • Experience working on VmwareVsphere 5.5 & 6.0 administration skills
  • Shall be a good team player and must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good Understanding of virtualization technology
  • Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center.
  • Good hands on command line of ESX.
  • Patching of ESX severs and VMs with VMware Update manager
  • Responsible for Root cause analysis
  • Responsible for Resolving Escalated issue.
  • Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
  • Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.
  • Experience in performance tuning of VMWare servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines.
  • Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers. WINDOWS:
  • Handling/ Setting/Configuring Servers.
  • Installation and Configuration of Domain Controllers.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise projects.
  • Hands on delivery in a client facing environment.
  • Ability to work with VSPHERE / VMware Consolidated Backup / Virtual machine backups
  • Deal with Hardware vendors like IBM / HP / Dell /. Following up with Vendors hardware & software whenever required &resolve issues by minimizing downtimes.
