Experience: 1 year (preferred)

Job description:

  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
  • Measure and estimate building and material costs for preparing Estimation of project cost
  • Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and an achievable project timeframe
  • Negotiating labour contracts and schedules
  • Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents.
  • Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
  • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
  • Administer the tendering process for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Examine the building plans created by architects and engineers.
  • Visit building sites to monitor progress and check that the work is on budget.
  • Prepare and manage the payments for contractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel and Word, etc.
  • Experienced in quantity estimation, rate analysis, and BOQ
  • Skills: Cost control, Planning & estimation valuation preparation of Project Work Quantities with drawings and specifications, etc.
  • Construction estimating experienced is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Sound knowledge of construction.
  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
