we are looking for AM/DM for a leading chemical comany in barnala.candidate should have done



Basic Purpose and Function Responsible for proposing and implementing continuous quality improvement in Health, Safety and •

Environmental policies, procedures and training programs while working in a collaborative and partnership manner with plant personnel. Responsible for maintaining and implementing HSE systems, programs and processes (procedures).

• Assists in the coordination and maintenance of environment, health and safety programs with the aim of

• eliminating accidents, property loss, harm to the environment and compliance with all applicable regulations. This position may be responsible for one or more of the following areas; Safety, Industrial Hygiene ,

• Environmental, or Hazardous Materials Transportation. Applies principles of physical science and engineering as required. Ensure safety of 4 Ms: Machine, Material, Manpower and Method.

• Position Dimensions Reports to General Manager. Act as the expert in all health, safety and environment related issues, provides training programs, and consults with all company operations on environmental and safe work practices.

Establishes short and long term company HSE goals and objectives, implements HSE policies for all areas of operations. Cost effectiveness measures in HSE initiatives. Contacts (internal/ external) Internal- Frequent contact with managers, supervisors and associates at all levels and in all areas within the organisation. External- as per requirement for liasoning purposes.

Skills Must be able to communicate well with plant managers, production operators and all levels of management, including special reports and presentations at the senior management level. Is familiar with parallel industry HSE standards.

Must be knowledgeable and conversant with state and central HSE regulations. Must be able to use appropriate management techniques (such as motivational skills, behaviour modification, attitude change) to achieve desired results from subordinates, peers and supervisors. Behavioural:

Good interpersonal skills. Effective time and resource management. Good communication skills both written and oral. Ability to lead and guide team for optimum results.,
