Assistant Manager - IT Operations


Position Summary


Position is to support and deliver on SLA’s for key security initiatives across critical functions in the Japan ITRS organization focusing on remediation of critical vulnerabilities across various platforms and infrastructures, monitoring of cyber threat incident, Data Loss prevention efforts, Application security etc.

  • Infrastructure remediation services – External and Internal vulnerabilities , TLS , JAVA , Adobe and Microsoft patching
    • Remediate key vulnerabilities in external and internal risk areas to catch up and reduce overall kenna score
    • Drive tracking and removing or upgrading key Java, Adobe, and Windows products to eliminate risk from out of date versions
  • Global tools remediation ( Windows, Firewall , PC encryption , AV )
  • Application Security and Guardium upgrades
  • Security operation log monitoring
  • Focus on remediation/troubleshooting for fixing remediation issues
  • Global workstations patching opportunities
  • Develop scorecards and remediation prioritization / plans ( PC Vs Server )
  • Firewall Log denials and VPN recertifications
  • Focus on Infrastructure vulnerabilities remediation – Internal and External
  • Work of servers , windows/linux infra using Microsoft SSCM
  • Tanium deployments and upgrades


Job Responsibilities

  • Monitoring Services – email monitoring operations, release holding, manage user inquiries, test data masking operations and endpoint log monitoring
  • Security Admin operations – internet browsing (whitelist/blacklist mgmt.), software vulnerability mgmt., security controls review
  • Security Infra operations – Lanscope operations, Cisco AMP operations, windows firewall operations, sky sea operations, SiteMinder operations
  • Application Security – Veracode access provisioning, primeon testing, vulnerability mgmt.
  • Splunk building and operations – add and modify index for collecting logs, apps migration/ upgrading environments


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Education


  • IT Graduate


Experience

  • Total of 6 years of experience with atleast 2 years of experience in Information Technology or related areas
  • L3 Level expert in Speaking, Writing and Reading Japanese Language
  • Should be a Japanese language expert
  • Flexibility to work in Japan Hours ( 6am IST to 2pm IST )

Knowledge and skills(general and technical)


  • Excellent MS Office skills – MS-Excel and Business Powerpoint presentations is a must
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Must process problem solving, planning, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvements
  • Flexibility in working hours and handling escalation and pressure situations
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally


Other Requirements

  • Power BI exposure - preferred
