Role Overview Description

We are looking for a Data Scientist who will work closely with Coremanagement & Engineering teams to build, validate & deploy thebest-in-class AI / ML / Deep Learning based solutions from scratch.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand the Functional specifications& derive AI / ML / Statistical specifications
  • Data Imputation & Cleansing the datathrough industry best statistical practices
  • Data Collection both internally and frompublic domains
  • Feature engineering, identify the relevantattributes / features
  • Exploratory Data Analysis with Python , Excelor any available statistical platforms to understand the summary statistics,Distribution of the dataset, Outlier detection / detection of influencingobservations etc.,
  • Building the models to solve the industryproblems with reasonable accuracy to fit for use in production
  • Identify and understand the Diagnostics ofModels to know the stability of the model(s) in stressed conditions
  • Validate the model and fine-tuning the modelon continual basis
  • Model deployment under given framework
  • Develop and maintain strong productknowledge. Stay abreast with new innovations and the latest technology trendsand explore ways of leveraging these for improving the product in alignmentwith the business.
Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 4 to 5 years of progressive experience in data analysis roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of acollaborative team
Must-Have Skills:

  • Python: Extensive expertise in Python for data analysis, scripting, andautomation.
  • SQL: Proficient in SQL for data querying, extraction, and databasemanagement.
  • Machine Learning (Supervised & Unsupervised): Proven experience inapplying both supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
  • Forecasting Techniques: Strong understanding and application of advancedforecasting techniques.
Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, EMR
  • Data Modelling: Understanding of data modelling concepts to ensureeffective database design.
Engagement Type:

  • Payroll and Compliance tobe managed by: Unipe
  • Client / Talent Agreement -Full-time Permanent position
  • Mode of Work: Onsite,Bangalore (Near IIM, Bangalore)
