Job Skills

Experience:Level – 12 to 17 years
  • Experience with Oracle and PL-SQL in recent projects
  • Strong understanding of database structures
  • Experience in designing and/or working on complex enterprise OLTP application
  • Experience with Analysis tools and Performance tuning on Oracle
  • Possess in-depth knowledge database development for large-volume data processing with knowledge of web-based technologies.
  • Should mentor and guide junior members in the practice and create a conducive environment for others to grow technically.
  • Flexible for travel based on project needs
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Providing technical expertise from Database perspective for every phase of the project lifecycle; from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization and support.
  • Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems;
  • Develops database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
  • Installs database systems by developing flowcharts; applying optimum access techniques; coordinating installation actions; documents actions.
  • Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; completing maintenance; answering user questions.
  • Prepares users by conducting training.
  • Provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Drives the performance tuning, re-design and re-factoring for a module.
