ALIC is seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of DevSecOps engineer. This role will provide opportunities to:

• Plan and shape the route of DevSecOps takes within the ALIC
• Work closely with executives across multiple disciplines in India and with our Asia/Global security teams acting as a key member of ALIC senior management

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with secure SDLC/DevSecOps practices such as automating security processes in CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience designing, and securing web applications deployed to AWS, Azure
• Scripting/Automation skills on Python, Shell, YAML, JSON
• Knowledge of OWASP top 10 list of vulnerabilities, NIST SP-800-xx, NVD, CVSS scoring etc concepts
• Solid understanding of Amazon Web Services including VPC, ELB, IAM, KMS, EC2, Config, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Lambda, and others
• Knowledge of AWS automation strategies and tools
• Partner with development and operations teams to facilitate practical automation solutions and custom modules.
• Trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevSecOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice.
• Experience writing cloud formation templates.
• Using Jenkins, Kubernetes, docker and micro service application architecture and deployment.
• Become a bridge between of DevOps and security best practices by unifying responsibility.
• Willing to implement security automation that decrease feedback cycle between development and deployment process.
• Strong in VA/PT tool integration in CI/CD pipeline.

Position Qualifications

Required
• 4-6 years’ experience working in Cloud Platform AWS/ Azure

• Hands on and good understanding on Cloud Security, Application security
• Good understanding of web applications, web servers, application firewalls, frameworks and protocols with respect to web application development, deployment, and operation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent judgement, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and meet the demands of internal and external customers

Desired

• Experience working within “Agile” frameworks
• Proficiency in secure programming methods.
