About The Position

As part of our Industrial Engineering & Operational Excellence team, you will have a key role in the digital transformation of global operations support functions.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing data products and digital solutions, and supporting operations and operations control processes.

This position will be based in Palwal/India, Vrable/Slovakia, Koluszki or Warsaw/Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing the QHSE KPI database and all linked reports.
  • Managing and developing other Q/SC/OPEX reports based on SAP input.
  • Supporting Supply Chain, OpEx and Quality teams with Power BI reports and SharePoint development and management.
  • Maintaining regular updates of Quality/OpEx and Supply Chain tools (e.g. Customer Specific Requirements).
  • Supporting Operations team on digitalization projects run in cooperation with Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) team, in particular projects related to MES and OPC.
  • Ensuring stability, availability, and integrity of digital solutions managed.
  • Continually benchmark future opportunities for digitalization or simplification of business processes
  • Maintaining Excel based tools, SQL databases and reports (including Power BI reports).
  • Training newcomers and managing access to the tools.
  • Simplifying and developing the QHSE KPI database to increase automation level and reduce manual input for plants.
  • Helping location users with the usage of the tools.
  • Understanding operations requirements for digitalization of process to support IS&T in the problem and requirements definition.
  • Supporting Operations in test and launch phases of the tools and digital solutions.

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

  • MSSQL Databases and stored procedure
  • VBA in Excel
  • Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI
  • SQL Server Analysis Services and Power BI
  • MS Flow
  • MS Sharepoint
  • Practical experience with SAP QM and MM, and knowledge of SAP data models is desirable.
  • Practical experience of programming database applications is desirable.
  • Experience with other systems used in the production environment (MES, OPC, ERP, Historian) would be an advantage.

Other Requirements

  • Technical Degree or Master in Information Technology or relevant fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English is a must
  • IT projects in automotive industry experience will be a plus
  • Autonomous working style, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude and eager to be part of a rapidly growing and changing environment
  • Creative, structured and systematic thinking
  • Good communication skills
  • High degree of personal integrity and confidence
