Engineering Head - Plastic Tool Room

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Head with extensive exposure to Plastic Tool Room operations, proficient in Design using AutoCAD, and a proven track record of managing OEM clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering functions, ensuring efficient design processes, and managing client relationships. The position comes with a budget responsibility of 16-17 Lac per annum.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Engineering department.

Align engineering activities with organizational goals and objectives.

Plastic Tool Room Management

Oversee and manage Plastic Tool Room operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance tooling processes.

Design Proficiency

Proficient in using AutoCAD for designing plastic components and tooling.

Ensure designs meet quality standards, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management

Manage relationships with OEM clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring client satisfaction.

Act as a key point of contact for client communication and issue resolution.

Budget Management

Develop and manage the engineering department budget effectively.

Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Operational Efficiency

Improve operational efficiency of the Plastic Tool Room.

Reduce lead times and enhance productivity.

Ensure high-quality design output using AutoCAD.
