What you’ll be doing...

SOE Sales is a suite of application systems geared to support users within several internal departments to process a variety of customer transactions, including equipment sales and ordering, airtime service sales, bill payments, equipment returns and repairs, account maintenance, pricing, inventory and discounting and rebates.

Responsibilities may Include:

  • Coding, validating and implementing software solutions and code reviews.
  • Developing new software application in partnership with business analysts and technical architects
  • Upgrading existing software as the user organization’s needs change.
  • Review / analyze requirements.
  • Handle change requests/support on a daily basis.
  • Develop and integrate the code to meet the release requirements.
  • Ensure to improve performance of the application on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform unit testing.
  • Ensure 100% availability of the application.
  • Maintain and update the release notes and development documentation.
  • Partner with source control team to ensure the changes are integrated with the release.
  • Participate in post implementation issues and performance review.

What we’re looking for...

Candidate should have excellent command over Java/J2EE technologies and UNIX operating system. Along with this strong database knowledge on Oracle RDB or 10g to develop end-to-end solutions and do robust designs.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience in Java/J2EE, Angular 2, Spring , Spring boot, Micro services
  • UI: Struts 1.x, Spring & Hibernate, Javascript, Servlet, Jquery
  • Web Services: WSDL, XML, SOAP, Log4j
  • Strong Agile / Scrum development methodologies with hands on experience
  • CI/CI DevOps integration experience.

Even better to have:

  • A degree or Master’s degree in B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / MBA
  • Two or more years of experience in Java/J2EE, Angular 2, Spring , Spring boot, Micro services.
  • Strong knowledge on Microservices (Sprinboot) Technologies.
  • AWS Cloud technology experience.
  • Performance engineering/testing automation tools experience.
  • Experience working in a large enterprise application especially in the Retail domain.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills; team oriented.
  • Excellent quantitative, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic work environment to meet critical deadlines.
