About Alstom In India

Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Overall Purpose Of The Role

The GSI-Services Leader is responsible to perform the following (at the Site level):

• Ensure that the Plant Maintenance with customer interface & Services Master Data are well implemented in the different systems (ERP, SES etc..)
• The Assistant to Production is responsible for producing, verifying data accuracy and closing-out service orders within the ERP for the maintenance or renovation project
• To industrialize the maintenance, renovation/modernization or warranty activity at the Depot, Repair Centre or Production site(s) in order to secure the production deliverables.
• Support the implementation of new systems and their updates.
  

Responsibilities

• Is the Key User for Site Information System Tools: ERP,BI, SES...
• Perform the tests before implementation with upgrade of processes & tools, participating to workshops and tests
• Ensure the data migration and eventually pilot the data rework.
• Train the Key users on methodology, rules, processes and tools dedicated business activity.
• Participate in the Key Users network.
• Data accuracy regarding his stream in his site, including both static & dynamic data.
• knowledge of the solution by managing the skill matrix dedicated to for end-users.
• Data consistency on his stream, even if those data are coming from other processes (ownership).
• Drives the indicators (effectiveness metrics & KPI) in his perimeter.
• Accountable in his organization for the Master data & data extracts related to Site.
• Accountable for process solving issues (idocs) and managing accounts access in his stream, according to internal control rules.
• Define data work plan and Interface with Cross-Functional team on Business Master data requirements
• Ensure the consistency of those data between the different systems.
• Manage the impacts of engineering and process changes in the systems.
• Set-up effectivity for application of the changes and Ensure accuracy of ERP Deliverables.
• Build and maintain up to date the on Service master data, Service orders, notifications, PM activity types.
• Build and update maintenance strategy and development of maintenance plan, task list and Service Order.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferably B-tech/B.E any Specialization with good knowledge of Technical education with Operational Leadership.
• Opened minded person, focused on continuous improvement
• English read, written, spoken.
• Capacity to train key users & end-users and follow-up their technical development

Experience / Skill Set

• Minimum of 7+ years in SAP Plant Maintenance/ Customer Services.
• Experience in at least one SAP implementation projects with SAP PM/CS solution.
• Good Understanding of master data relevant to SAP CS and use of different fields in the master data for the CS processes
• Preferably experience in railways/ automobile industry
• Knowledge of PP, MM, SD and FI will Added advantage
• Familiar with IS common tools.
• SAP PM & CS, UAT support, SAP Implementation.
• SAP certification is an advantage
• Language Skills: Proficient in the English language
• IT Skills: MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
