Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as Head - Technical Sales & Services(TSS). As the Head of TSS, you will be responsible for leading and managing our technical sales and services division. This includes overseeing the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Paint industry.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Paint Technology Graduate with MBA
  • Fluency in English and Good computer literacy.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in technical sales, Paint industry Preferred ( Asian paint, Shalimar ,BERGER PAINTS, etc .
  • Ensure day-to-day operation of the organization sale system by effective management of customer support system for existing sales , resolving customer complaints through quick and permanent solutions and FTR in new projects.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Deep understanding of the Paint industry and market trends
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Willingness to travel as required

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Ensure that RGY sale target is achieved
  • To provide information, updates, benchmarking report about competitors’ products/technologies.
  • Receive and forward customer complaint to MIPPL team, organize customer visit, inform all team members, review progress of corrective action.
  • Direct and coordinate a team of technical support specialist and technical officers.
  • Prioritize product related problems and solutions as soon as it is registered.
  • Assign problems/tasks to tech support specialist.
  • Regularly analyze and review problems to determine if problems are imminent and develop solutions before they occur.
  • Ensure that customer line is not stopped and to provide instant solution to customer and ensure that product is run on line.
  • Analyze situations and determine resources needed to solve them.
  • Follow up with customer to gauge their satisfaction with problem resolution, identify technical support problem areas and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure ongoing training for technical support team, maintain and analyze training records.
  • Coordinate with marketing, R&D & customer in product development.
  • Direct and coordinate with R&D and customer for new product trials and ensure FTR in NPD projects.
  • Collect data on competitor’s capability and performance.
  • Ensure actions on guidance issue by top management.
  • Find gaps, perform root cause analysis & take corrective actions
  • Maintain 5S in respective area
  • Ensure environment protection during all activities.
