1 Qualification and Technical Competencies Required

Mandatory:Bachelor in Commerce

Desirable:MBA in finance / Executive MBA / Post-Graduate in Finance

Experience:10-12 years for Manager, 7-8 years for Team Leader, 4-5 years for a Sr. Specialist

Experience in either of the below Market Data Services:

1. Market Data Administration

2. Market Data Analysis

The overall Market Data service covers all aspects of the provision of real-time external prices and other market data within the Organization. The management and control over these services are critical in allocating costs to the respective business units.

The Market Data Services also covers all aspects of externally provided dynamic and static data, which can be provided as feeds, direct terminals, downloads, web sites and so on, all of which need a level of administration, analysis and compliance review.

Expert-level knowledge of the Market Data Services provided by vendors like Bloomberg, Refinitiv and Exchanges

Job summary:

Market Data Administration maintains the control aspects of market data so that the services delivered to both applications and end-users are controlled and auditable by regulators and exchanges. The roles in this area also ensure that the connections and use of the data meet the compliance and legal requirements through technical and design controls. The services are charged and allocated correctly by utilizing various billing, invoicing, and contractual information.

The responsibilities of this position include managing the Vendor (Refinitiv, Bloomberg and Exchange) Interactions:

• Data Notifications
• Data Access Declaration (DAD) preparation and processing of DAD. Check invoices considering DAD
• Unused Reports
• User maintenance
• Maintenance of permission sets
• Site Subscription, adding and removing products, exchanges, specialist data, vendor services.
• Migration to new products
• Check of Level 1 / Level 2 exchanges
• Map Collect
• Usage collection
• Permission and item requirement support
• Provide reports from DACS: Permission reports, usage reports, Data Declaration Report, Admin Report
• Provide reports for Audits
• Invoice reconciliation
• Track usage of applications
• Work with applications to reduce the usage of data licenses
• Process exchange notifications, support purchase department concerning Audits.

Market Data Analysis

• Customer-focused activities:
• Analysis of Demand Management, Data, Products and Market Trends
• Ensure products and services are aligned to the business strategy
• Challenge all requests for services and ensure that existing services continue to meet current business needs at the lowest cost
• Define, document and constantly monitor and update user profiles
• Ongoing product assessment and suitability reviews
• Analysis of data flows
• Highlight product displacement opportunities
• Research and implement monitoring tools to reduce TCOs
• Report on utilization of services, highlight low usage services and opportunities to reduce cost
• Provide cost trend analysis and reports on KPIs, cost allocation and service usage to meet the requirements of all stakeholders
• Ownership of monitoring tools to ensure usage is constantly and consistently reviewed
• Create education packs for consumers of market data, in cooperation with the market data Compliance Group
• Hold training sessions to ensure the best use of market data
• Keep up with market trends
• Conduct market analysis from a content and technical perspective
• Ownership of the inventory management system (product ownership)

Basic Competencies:

• Deep understanding of Financial Markets and Financial Products
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)

Others:Mandatory - Comfortable in working rotational shift duties

Shift timing:

• Morning shift: 7 AM to 3 PM

Afternoon shift: 3 PM to 11 PM
