Roles and Responsibilities


Amity Software needs a Hiring Manager to head a team of I.T. recruiters. The role of this team is to recruit for internal positions - mostly for I.T. professionals (Dot Net, MVC, PHP, SAP, DBA etc). There is also recruitment for non-IT positions, including senior positions. Senior position recruitment is to be handled personally by Hiring Manager. The person must be result oriented and will be responsible for performance of his/her whole team.The role involves:

- Managing a team of recruiters

- Posting Vacancies and Searching the recruitment Portal Database for candidates and identifying potential employees

- Scheduling and Organizing interviews with Technical Team and/or Management

- Conducting HR interviews himself

- Salary negotiations with prospective Selected candidates

- Salary and Grade fixation as per Company norms and obtaining Hiring Approval

- Finalization of candidates

- Issuing offer letters

- Organizing medical examination of candidates and also COVID test

- Keeping in touch with candidates, till they join

- Preparing pre-joining arrangements and ensuring smooth and pleasant joining formalities

- Briefing new employees regarding rules and practices of the Company

- Organizing Reference Check

- Issuing appointment letters

- Interacting with newly joined employees, during the first month of their employment, and ensuring that they settle down comfortably and their expectations are met

- Proactive interaction with Department Heads to plan upcoming manpower requirements

- Will keep monitoring the pulse of employees to ensure a high satisfaction level and advising Mangement on the matter

- Will monitor the Job Market and recommend proactive action to ensure stability of employees and high recruitment success.

- The successful Hiring Manager will be able to keep minimum open positions, and have low / no joining failure and stability of new employees.


Desired Candidate Profile

1. Minimum Graduate (Full-time in a college/university). MBA(HR) will be preferred (Correspondence MBA from known Institutions will be acceptable).

2. I.T. / Software Recruitment experience of 6-10 years. Minimum 3-4 years in Managerial capacity with at least 3 - 5 recruiters reporting

3. Minimum 4 years in Recruitment department of an I.T./Software company - and not a recruitment consultancy.

4. Very Good English Communication skill with Capability to write correct and polite english

5. Extremely polite, soft spoken, and good personality.

6. Leadership qualities and past experience of leading a team of recruiters.

7. Currently residing in Noida / Delhi NCR area within 20 km of Amity Software office or will relocate before joining.
