JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Compounding, dispensing medications and related supplies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy.
  • Recommending drug therapy changes when appropriate.
  • Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
  • Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
  • Counseling patients regarding appropriate use of medications.
  • Work with the pharmaceutical staff to maintain a clean, patient-friendly workplace.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Required)

Experience:

  • Pharmacist: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
