Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Information Security Advisor, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Program Manager responsible to develop risk-based strategies and methods to ensure GTS compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.
• Monitor, report and improve the Data Privacy and Security Program in line with GTS/IBM Legal and policy requirements
• Interact/collaborate with other GTS functions and other organizations including CHQ Chief Privacy Office and Enterprise & Technology Security.
• Recognizing and articulating job-related problems to management
• Business Controls, Legal, and Procurement to ensure assessment and implementation of Data Privacy and Security policies.
• Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the various project teams located across the globe.
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in IT industry
• Strategic thinker and thought leader with ability to assess risks, complex problems and formulate resolution approaches and mitigation action plans.
• Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other national regulations regarding Data Privacy & Protection (e.g. CCPA, LGPD, India Privacy Act) and their application to GTS business processes and technological infrastructures
• Understanding of GTS IS business processes, offerings and tools infrastructure
• Experience as a team leader/project/program manager of strategic, transformational and complex projects and programs
• Cyber Security expertise is required
• Team and matrix management leadership
• Fluency (Verbal and Written) in English language
• A high degree of computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to self-study and learn new systems and programs quickly

About Business UnitThis position currently sits within Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services (IS) or a shared services function supporting GTS.
