Work you will do

As PMO Manager, you will work with a team of project management colleagues and project stakeholders to manage projects, from gathering project requirements and understanding scope through execution to project close-out. We will expect you to:

  • Play the role of the project coordinator, project manager or portfolio manager depending upon the nature and type of project to drive all the phases of the project.
  • Deploy established tools and templates to create and/or update comprehensive project plans, and meeting minutes, track project status and seek necessary data for project dashboards, and document issues, risks and any other project documentation as required by the project.
  • Provide update to the leadership on the project status and performance metric. Collaborate with all the service area leads to ensure the project records are captured, monitored, and updated in the Salesforce platform regularly to provide the quarterly performance report.
  • Act as a point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants and work with colleagues to manage stakeholders.
  • Responsible for updating the project record and all project documents in teams/ SharePoint/ Salesforce and manage the access of the platforms
  • Conduct project closure and capture the lesson leant and CSAT for all the projects as part of creating the knowledge repository for historical project database for the future references.
  • Develop, establish, and maintain project management standards and procedures. Ensure quality of service and compliance of all processes.
  • Create business process documents (flow diagrams, charts, presentations etc.,) using tools such as Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Lead the PMO team for GTO operations and be responsible for all the team members wellbeing, work allocation, coaching, performance, and growth.
  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of project efforts that utilize information technology solutions, principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Continue to learn and grow your project management skills, your knowledge of talent operations subject matter and stakeholders, and your key relationships.

The team

Our team provides end-to-end project management support to projects from initiation to closeout, as well as post-closeout operational support for a specific period. Our team works collaboratively with each other and the project teams to deliver project, on time and to high quality, meeting the goals of project leadership and the needs of our customers.

Administrative duties

  • USI lead for the salesforce team and Change and communication team in addition to the PMO team
  • Responsible for the operational work deliverable to the stakeholders on time. Ensure quality work deliverables and support the team to manage work priorities, any issue, or handle any operational escalations.
  • Responsible for the team performance, collecting and proving constructive feedback along with coaching and mentoring for the overall growth and development of the team members.
  • Responsible for the business metric reporting to the leadership and conduct regular team connect for smooth operations daily.
  • Responsible for team utilization, goal sheet, business continuity plan, team development, training, disciplinary issues and hiring as needed.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Overall experience between 8 to 10 years of which partial or full involvement in project management or equivalent experience is needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen, facilitate discussions, gather requirements, and politely pose questions and make recommendations.
  • Good virtual meeting skills (opening the meeting and summarizing actions agreed) specially with clients and internal stakeholders around the globe.
  • Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills – diligence in setting up meetings flawlessly, coordinating with various stakeholders on task status
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems, cooperatively, under pressure.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (good PowerPoint presentation skills, MS Excel and MS project is a must) and project management tools
  • A bachelor’s degree

  • Previous experience in projects and PMO processes in a matrixed environment
