Manager - Treasury

You will be working as Manager - Treasury, reporting to the Country Treasurer in Business Area - Corporate Functions and located in Bangalore. You will be responsible to make ABB India Treasury CoE / CTO CoE workstream a world-class team that partners with the business to outperform and operates at the highest standard with speed, simplicity, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities

• Work closely with India Country Treasurer / Workstream CoE Lead to implement Corporate Treasury strategy and Corporate Treasury Policy in cluster countries & beyond. Support ABB Group’s projects related to Treasury operations.
• Manage Foreign Exchange (FX) / commodity price exposure for ABB entities in India & sub-continent through hedging centrally, responsible for developing / maintaining the associated banking relationship / system framework. Assist in effective cash management, liquidity planning for the countries in scope. Lead / support M&A projects, related risk management, financing & other activities.
• Review and Identify the financial risks pertaining to treasury and coverage countries in scope for cash management, foreign exchange (FX) management. Design appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Review risk management policies to confirm alignment with Corporate Treasury Policy, with the aim to protect adverse impact on company’s results and to support business in achieving their targets.
• Identify Corporate Treasury Operation processes with potential for harmonization and improvement. Ongoing review of treasury activities in India cluster & other countries. Enhancing the execution of all treasury activities and ensuring streamlined execution across operating entities in scope. Support in coordination/rollout of Corporate Treasury function initiatives and projects across the region.
• Act as an advisory to all relevant stakeholders in finance and business community within the organization. Work closely with the business to ensure all related risks are mitigated. Provide Corporate Treasury Operation advisory/trainings in most efficient manner and ensure proper knowledge is communicated.

Your background

• Master’s degree in Business Administration / Commerce / Accounting / Economics from a reputed B-School / University or professional degree such as CA / CFA / CIMA.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in large corporate treasury / banking and ability to understand the business requirements.
• Knowledge about financial markets and products, including funding, cash management and derivatives.
• Good communication, inter-personal and networking skills.
• Ability to coordinate and handle requests and pressures from multiple counterparties.
• Ability to communicate with senior local and regional management and partners.
• Ability to represent ABB with external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of SAP is desired and willingness to travel.
