Network Automation is a Strategic initiative in Agilent to move Network Operations to the next level. As a member of the IT Network Automation team, you will be responsible for key process Automation to meet business needs.

You will Identify, qualify, recommend, develop code and support Automation solutions by using external vendors and internal partners.

  • Reduce broad concepts and business strategies into structured IT Automation initiatives.
  • Work with Internal resources with various IT teams, and with External vendors for Automation solution development.
  • Manage scheduling of Automation development initiatives assigned, and deliver results.
  • Solve complex, high impact IT process and support problems with Automation.
  • Deal with abstract problems by grasping bigger picture and drill down to details.
  • Understand all variables that contributes to successful delivery of Automation codes and manage timely delivery of Network automation initiatives.
  • Analyze current processes, Interpret and Investigate new potential automation opportunities for those processes.
  • Continuous improvement of current Automation solutions with enhancement.
  • Re-purpose current Automation solutions to solve similar process problem in other Network platforms.
  • Provide inputs and assist in preparing monthly Network automation status reports.

    • Qualification & Experience
    • University Degree in Information Technology, or, Computer Science, or, Electronics Engineering.
    • Minimum 5years experience, preferably in Multi-national environment.

    Skills
    • Good Scripting knowledge and at-least 2-3 years of relevant scripting experience.
    • Some Knowledge and understanding of various Network Technologies such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, WAN Acceleration, Network Security, VoIP etc is required.
    • Good written & verbal communication skills in English to be able to work with multi-national users, partners, and vendors.
    • Logical thinking, ability to independently be able to develop Scripting Solutions.
    • Analytical skills, to understand issues, analyze, interpret and conclude with answers.
    • At least 2 years Scripting experience (e.g., Ansible, Python & Shell/Perl) and hands-on experience in developing programs and workflows to support automation.
    • At least 5 years hands-on experience and knowledge in Network operations and in various Network technologies.
    • Cloud automation skills are added advantage.
