Network Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our talented team. Our Network Engineering team is responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance and support of our global network, utilizing the latest telecommunications and networking technologies available, to deliver the best possible end-user experience to TT’s customers.

WHAT WILL YOU BE INVOLVED WITH?

• Serve as initial responder in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving network problems in a global network while effectively communicating across teams
• Document all network-related activities in the ticketing system to analyze trends in reported issues and to assist in shift turnover
• Maintain, design, monitor and troubleshoot all aspects of our global multi-vendor network including: datacenter LAN and WAN, private IP connections to clients, exchange connectivity, cloud, NOS software upgrades
• Deploy configuration changes to devices during documented maintenance windows
• Fulfill project implementation tasks assigned autonomously or as a team
• Perform routine audit work in various areas of the network
• Create scripts to automate tasks and optimize efficiency in accordance with team standard practices
• Provide remote technical supervision to on-site technicians when necessary
• Participate in on-call rotation to support the network 24×7

QUALIFICATIONS & TT CULTURE

• What You Bring to the Table:
• Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting of large complex IP based networks
• Experience with Juniper operating system, implementation and concepts
• Advanced experience building and designing LANs/WANs
• Proficient knowledge of network protocols such as RSTP, FHRP, OSPF, BGP
• Extensive knowledge of Switching, Routing, and Firewalls within a global network
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring tools, and protocols. e.g SNMP, Syslog
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation
• Preferred Qualifications
• Python development
• Multicast networking
• Maintaining and troubleshooting MPLS network
• QoS, e.g Policing, Shaping
• Network automation
• Exchange market connectivity
• Linux Systems Administration
• Packet analysis tools, e.g TCPDump, Wireshark
