JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidate should be able to comprehend the requirements, related development processes, delivery quality and timelines. Candidate should be able to work in an Agile methodology having 4-7 team members and should also possess an experience of working for couple of larger companies with scalable Agile practices.

He/she should be able to write clean coding and enter into technical discussions without any reluctance. Candidate should be able to reflect their thoughts with solution before and during the development phase of projects, to be quality-assured, aligned on design patterns and related documentation. Candidate is responsible to work during all phases of project lifecycle. Candidate needs to prove his/her developer role for a year or two, in case he/she wants to step-up the growth ladder within organization in future career.

Works and communicates well with other developers and the business teams they support. Dedication to continuous improvement and continuous learning. Provide support to all areas of responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain high level of coding standards.

• Critical thinker and good problem-solver.

• Good understanding of Web applications and Ecommerce websites.

• Focused on usability, maintainability and quality, building for the long term.

• Exceptional programming, debugging & analytical skills.

• Handle Complex MySQL database designs & optimization techniques.

• Conducting performance tests and QA.

• Experience in MVC PHP Framework application development.

• Ability to Plan a project from scratch, set milestones & meet deadlines.

• Understanding client requirements & functional specifications.

• Coordinating with co-developers and other related departments.

• Keen eye for producing clean and semantic code.

• Understanding of software engineering best practices.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for evaluating new services and technologies.

Skills & Proficiencies:

5+ years of Relevant Experience.

Proficient in PHP 5 and 7, Laravel, MySQL, XML, JSON, Ajax.

Strong expertise in databases (MySQL or others).

Experience working with AWS/Other cloud platforms.

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap.

Familiar with DOM manipulation libraries like jQuery.

Familiar working with data services via REST or SOAP.

Experience with Core PHP, Opencart, WordPress, MVC Framework like CodeIgniter and Cake PHP.

Knowledge of GIT and branch management.
