Overall Purpose of the Job

Accountable for successful tracking and delivery of production readiness activities between Project team and BAU teams,ensuring the agreed deliverables are produced by team .The role will be responsible for reviewing, updating and managing the production readiness dashboard by coordinating various project and BAU stakeholders

This position will liaise on multiple levels across the Toll business unit, with project team members and various technical departments within IT. To be successful in the position your in-depth technical knowledge will be enhanced by your exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the production of the required deliverables according to defined scope
• Prepare the weekly production Readiness dashboard on regular basis
• Manage and be accountable for the governance of overall transition hand-over between Projects and BAU team
• Manage the project team’s internal and external resources making the best and most efficient use of their skills
• Direct and motivate the project and BAU team for success transition and hand-over of Projects and services
• Ensuring regular follow up actions are taken and shown to be effective with teams
• Liaise with program management team, BAU team, Technical team for effective hand-over as per checklist
• Apply appropriate production readiness governance in alignment with Toll Group Delivery & Governance frameworks and expectations
• Manage stakeholders and production readiness related communications and engagement activities
• Report accurately and completely on progress and production readiness status
• Participate in different hand-over/ escalation meetings between different project and BAU team
• Escalate to the Management if the Production readiness process is not getting adhered
• Suggesting and coming up with best practices for improving the transition management between Project and BAU team

Skills essential to the Job

• Minimum 5 years project or service delivery experience, including 3 years as transition manager managing transition for complex projects
• Experience working with 3rd party (outsourced) IT providers and/or system integrators
• Able to demonstrate experience in successfully managing medium-scale cross enterprise technology programs /IT systems implementation projects across the SDLC to completion

Secondary:

Tertiary/T.A.F.E.

• Tertiary level qualifications in Project Management , ITC or Engineering

Professional:

• PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 /PMBOK/ ITIL/ Service Delivery/ Transition Management or equivalent certification is good to have
