About Enterprise Capability @AECOM

Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is a service-driven organization within AECOM that enables access to a global talent pool ready to support project teams to achieve high-quality and timely delivery. Operating from Global Delivery Centers (GDCs), AECOM offices that operate as a technical hub, in India, China, Philippines, Spain, Poland, and Romania, EC has a team of over 1800+ professionals providing around-the-clock project delivery.

As part of the strategic initiative, Global Delivery Center (GDC) organization has been established in AECOM India to provide a wide range of technical services in multi-disciplinary Building engineering, Architecture, Structural, Transportation and Water disciplines to other AECOM offices globally. At present, GDC has a core team of 450+ personnel experienced in Building engineering and Transportation design, located in Gurgaon and Bangalore, India.

Responsible for conducting architectural studies, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing reports, calculations, and detailed design and construction drawings. Also are involved in the signing and sealing of plans, obtaining permits for construction, and the review of plans and specifications submitted by consultants and contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
• Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
• Experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, ANZ (preferred).
• Experience in delivering projects in BIM and relevant discipline software.
• Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.
• Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
• Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good attention to details.
• Must be a team player and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way.
• Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
• Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
• Accountability for assigned work.
• Accuracy & precision of work.

• Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Soft skills: energetic, honest, strong leadership, very good communicator, clear vision, tenacious, accountable, resilient.
