Job Title

QA Engineer 3
Common accountabilities:

  • Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, takes standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.

  • Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or manager, with regular monitoring on the status of the assignments.

  • May have specialized formal education or the equivalent work experience and has the required technical and functional skills and basic knowledge of the business.

Specific accountabilities:

  • Should have experience in QA methodologies.
  • Should have some experience in designing test plans.
  • Willing to embrace new technologies and bring innovative solutions to leverage them
  • Should be self-Motivated, analytical, pro-active, Accountable and committed.
  • Should be flexible, Team player, adaptable to fast changing business needs and technical environment.
  • Should be assertive, able to resolve conflicts and gain consensus in a cross functional team
  • Past experience with working on agile teams & Scrum is a plus
  • Knowledge of travel domain is a plus

Skills / Competencies

Python scripting is mandatory, experienced in automating web services using Python language.

  • Exposure to having worked with microservices & API Testing.
  • Exposure to Test Automation process and tools like ROBOT/BDD Based Framework.
  • The candidate will be involved in requirement understanding, Test Plan creation, scripting, validation and signoff of change requests.
  • Substantive experience in verifying and validating complex software
  • Strong technical credentials with 3-4 years of hands-on functional testing knowledge.
  • Container and virtualization technologies experience.
