This is a Research Engineer Analytics role, reporting to the R&D Team Manager in Business Area – Motion for Division-Service (MOSE), located in Bangalore. You will be responsible for signal processing techniques and having background of vibration analysis and knowledge of motors pumps etc.

Your responsibilities

• Leading from technical perspective collaboration with research personnel in corporate research centers and within the R&D Center, on new algorithms for machine diagnosis and learning.
• Understanding of vibration data acquisition systems, vibration sensors, signal processing software and condition monitoring techniques.
• Performing Artificial Intelligence based algorithms for pattern recognition in large data base.
• Leading development of new algorithms and improvement of existing algorithms to increase reliability and discernibility of algorithms.
• Guiding other team members about the technology development process.
• Interacting with programming team to help implement developed and tested algorithms.
• Performing data mining and observe patterns in collected data and analyzed information.

Your background

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Software Engineering or equivalent .
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in analyzing data for condition monitoring and signal processing applications.
• Must have knowledge of Linux, MATLAB, Python.
• Must have domain knowledge of motors, pumps, drives etc.
• Must have deep knowledge of conventional and advanced signal processing techniques.
• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning models developed in recent years.
