Job Summary

Scrum Master
As a scrum master working with one or more scrum teams you will be responsible for ensuring the scrum teams follow scrum framework and SAFe practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve process and facilitate the scrum events, eliminating team impediments and identifying risk.

As a scrum master your responsibilities will include:
o Scheduling and facilitating scrum events such as:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Standups
  • Sprint Review, Retrospective and Demos
  • Backlog refinement.
o Ensure scrum team follows Agile process.
o Monitoring progress and team deliverables according to the Program Increment (PI) Plan.
o Manage inter team dependencies.
o Managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
o Ensure continuous improvement, quality, predictability, and velocity of the scrum team.
o Work with PM and development leads to ensure value is delivered.
o Providing weekly status reports communicating risk with transparency.
o Facilitate the team in the Program Increment (PI) Planning events.

Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
o Certified Scrum master.
o 3+ years of Scrum Master experience in a software development environment.
o Understanding of Agile and SAFe practices.
o Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle and Deliverables.
o Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o Experience with JIRA or similar Project Tracking Software.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Design, develop, deploy and support modules of large world-class enterprise-level product.
  • Participate in architectural design of product.
  • Develop high level development timelines based on project scope and understanding of the existing application code.
  • Evaluate new design specifications and raise quality standards, address architectural concerns.
  • Evaluate stability, compatibility, scalability, interoperability, and performance of the software product.
  • Maintain and upgrade product source codes.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise through publication, presentations, white papers and event participation.
  • Continually learn new technologies in related areas.
  • Serve as a source of technical expertise and mentor junior team members.

What We’re Seeking

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant experience in software architecture, design, development and testing.
  • Experience in software design with strong foundation of design models and database structures.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts and programming.
  • Experience in writing product specifications and documenting product features to present them to a wider audience.
  • Excellent communication and ability to articulate the design with architects and discuss strategy / requirements with teams.
  • Business domain knowledge.
  • Ability to provide product demonstrations is an advantage.
