Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS) , with Private and Hyperscaler deployment options, a true multicloud service offering.

THE ROLE

• Advanced technical background of Linux based server operating systems
• Deep understanding Azure and AWS platforms to run SAP workloads
• Defining SLIs ,SLOs and meeting availbility targets for Linux systems
• Networking experience with the suite of TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls
• Experience with network services like DNS and LDAP and HTTP proxies
• Scripting and programming languages on Linux (Shell, Perl, Python, Go)
• Professional experience with CICD tools and gitops (e.g. Ansible, CHEF)
• Conducting blameless postmotems and defining counter measures for problem mitigation
• Focus on SRE pronciples to reduce toil by accelerating automation and eliminating waste
• Experience in bulding E2E observability stack for monitoring production workloads and continous imporovement methodoligies.
• Experince on Virtualization platform such as VMwarE
• Focus on Service reliability improvements and TCO reduction Initiatives by working on strategic and improvement projects in the SRE framework
• Scripting / programming expericne is an added advantage (Shell, Perl, Python, Go).
• Professional experience with Infrastcuture as Code (Terraform ,Ansible, CHEF)

ROLE REQUIREMENT

• 7+ years work experience in server / Cloud administration (3rd level support)
• Multiyear work experience in international teams and Global Projects
• Good knowledge on ITIL Standards for Problem, Change and Incident Management
• BE/B.Tech/MCA from a well Reputed Institute
• Advanced technical background and administration experience for server operating systems (SUSE Linux)
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint
• In depth knowledge of Azure Platform you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy
• Cloud agnostic approach, with core knowledge of public cloud AWS & Azure offerings
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in multicloud setup
