The Opportunity

“Come join our Professional Services team in a hands-on technical consultant role where you’ll be involved in the implementation of FICO’s technology platform, applications / tools and services. This role provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business and work closely with product development, product management, and sales / pre-sales team(s) to deliver significant value to our clients.”– VP, Professional Services.

What You’ll Contribute

• Work as a Consultant in a technology / functional area and collaborate with the onsite / client team to understand, develop and implement client requirements.
• Design, develop, test and deploy customized software solutions using FICO offerings.
• Use diagrams and tools to write programs, investigate and fix bugs, and install solutions.
• Continually learn new technologies in related areas.

What We’re Seeking

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant technology/domain experience.
• Proficient in implementing software solutions including writing technical specifications, designing, developing, testing and deploying systems / applications.
• Experience in maintaining/updating solution source code.
• Experience in documenting product features and presenting them to technical / business audience.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, show initiative, and respond quickly in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Ability to work well as part of a geographically diverse team.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring.
• Proficiency in working with Tomcat and WebSphere Web Server.
• Experience in developing scalable and high performing applications.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB .
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL writing skills.
• Familiarity with Agile software methodologies.
• Should have basic knowledge on Financial domain/Retail Banking.
• Should have working experience Knowledge on Web-services (SOAP,REST) development.
• Should be comfortable working in Windows/Linux type environment.
• Knowledge on Unix/Linux/Batch like scripting etc. would be good to have.
• Knowledge on XML and JSON would be good to have.
• Good attitude to work in the team and learn new technologies/ products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in software design with strong foundation of design models and database structures.
• Experience in writing product specifications and documenting product features to present them to a wider audience.
• Excellent communication and ability to articulate the design with architects and discuss strategy / requirements with teams.
• Knowledge of iOS & Andriod platforms for development of Mobile applications.
• Ability to provide product demonstrations is an advantage.
