Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial, and HR business services to all its business areas


ROLE PURPOSE:

As part of the Hydro Network Operations Team, the Network Engineer main responsibility is the management of the WAN (through various service providers), LAN (local area network), DDI services (DHCP and IP address management and any additional services which might be added to the future.

Additionally, participate in network-related projects in the organization – improving existing infrastructure, extending the service portfolio or introducing new services.


Main Responsibilities:

Handling daily mid and high-level escalations

Support the team members in their daily technical questions

Participate in internal network & security projects

Support architectural decision

Operation of corporate network / Incident and problem management (2nd and 3rd level support)

Vendor management

Create and maintain network documentation


Work Experience -
At least 5 years experience in network operations/project team in a multinational environment. Experience with WAN, LAN (WLAN), ISE, ACS,, DHCP, DNS and IPAM, Cloud proxies

Industry Experience -Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in IT Shared Services environment is preferred

Education -Bsc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred

Licensing/Certification -CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge is required

Functional Knowledge -Strong IT technical skills are proven in a multinational environment

Technical Knowledge -

Knowledge of Cisco WLC and ISE equipment is an advantage

Knowledge of Palo Alto equipment is an advantage

Knowledge of Windows-based DHCP system is an advantage

Knowledge of Cisco SDWAN and SD-Access is a plus.
