Position – Sr Executive/Assistant Manager - Trader

Reporting to – CBO - Head

Location: Northern India – Punjab/HR/UP

Job Responsibility

  • Incumbent would be responsible to support procurement and sale of agri commodities and by-products from Solvent Extraction operations
  • Conduct Research and Analysis on domestic and international markets, price seasonality, Competitive intelligence, farm inputs etc for making effective decision making
  • Develop a strong network of millers/producers and Oil refineries in the region for benchmark rate validation and best realization for traded products
  • Would be responsible for handling logistics and warehousing of commodities and moving material across geographies based on price parity
  • Conduct detailed on-field crop surveys by travelling to source /producing markets and direct farmer interactions for assessment of supply-demand situation
  • Contribute to business success by meeting On Time Delivery targets of RM and ensure continuity of manufacturing operations at all times
  • Engage with key stakeholders to enhance profitability from operations
  • Support and facilitate Regional buying leads to effectively and timely execute commercial activities
  • Continuously work towards vendor base enhancement
  • Creation of Purchase Orders, Follow up for delivery completion, payment processing and other transactions involved in Procure-2-pay cycle
  • Must respect Organizational value systems and ensure compliances ownership without requiring formal supervision to meet all control and reporting objectives
  • Leverage company strengths in identifying and expanding a competitive vendor base

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate/Post graduate (preferable) with prior relevant experience of min 4 to 5 years in SOLVENT PROCESSING INDUSTRY
  • Expertise in Analysis, market intelligence, strategic sourcing and supplier performance management
  • Knowledge of business applications like SAP MM, E-Auction platforms, Mobile Apps etc would be desirable

Willing to travel extensively across geographies
