About The Job

Company Description

We are looking for experienced and passionate people to join our iA Global Support Team.

In this role you will be analysing data queries using SQL, troubleshooting, checking for errors, customising reports and supporting/coaching a vast array of stakeholders who subscribe to our Power BI Business Intelligence solutions.

You will be working with professionals across the globe in a multicultural environment. You will get practical, hands on experience in troubleshooting, data analysis, problem solving and you will work closely with our Technical Teams to fully support the technologies they develop for solutions and data we deliver to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting existing and future deliverables in Power BI for the USA, Europe and APAC regions.
  • Identifying and resolving errors in excel files
  • Guiding and coaching Modelling Analysts and Consultants on how to correct file errors and the correct processes they need to follow
  • Troubleshooting & Customizing reports in PBI
  • Manual file loading
  • Capacity Management procedures to ensure old/unused data is managed effectively and we have enough capacity for new projects/studies
  • Performing data analysis using SQL querying
  • Creating reports, dashboards and apps in Power BI
  • Understanding complex calculations and being able to articulate them back to the reporter
  • Proactively identifying ways to reduce the number of support tickets and areas of improvement for the support team
  • Proactively gaining technical knowledge in order to resolve errors and automate processes
About You
  • To succeed in this role you will need to have the ability to clearly and confidently communicate; to our reporters, technical teams and all other stakeholders we work alongside.
  • You can work independently and also as an integral part of a team to manage tickets, resolutions and issues, often under pressure
  • You have good communication skills (both oral & written in English).
  • You pay attention to detail and have good time management skills
  • You enjoy problem solving
  • You are systematic and organised as you will need to complete tasks quickly and efficiently to tight SLA deadlines
  • You are always willing to help and support others
  • You are prepared to work on National Holidays when required
  • You are happy to work unsociable hours in order to fully support our U.S. and APAC regions.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Power BI (considered as a plus)
  • Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of Jira (considered as a plus)
  • Experience in SQL /T-SQL and knowledge about SQL Server Databases systems.
  • Knowledge/ experience in Python (considered as a plus)
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to work creatively in a problem-solving environment.
  • Bachelor of Technical Science or Statistics
